Energy Drinks in the news

I recently read two interesting articles about the way energy drink affect your health. A small study has been conducted in the US to research the affect on blood pressure and heart rate.

The participants in the study were asked to drink two cans of an energy drink for seven consecutive days. The result showed an increase in the participant’s blood pressure and increase in the heart rate well. Dr James Kalus, PharmD, said “I would advise any patient with cardiac risk against using these energy drinks,”. Read the whole article: http://urlcount.com/jh

Another article appeared in a German Online Paper. The “Bundesinstitut fuer Risikobewertung” (a German government agency) is warning about dangerous side affects especially when energy drinks are consumed with alcohol.

There are reports of irregular heart beats, cramping and kidney failure after people consumed the dangerous mix of alcohol and energy drink together. Some countries even consider of putting warning labels on the bottles or cans to make consumers aware of the dangers.

There are scientifically proven healthier natural alternatives to lift your energy available. Traditional Asian Medicine has many remedies or recipes available to give you a natural energy boost.

    Goyin - The juice

What's in it? Well there are 12 different Superfruits and 4 herbs blended according to a Traditional Asian Medicine recipe. They are:

Euphoria Longan (also known as "Dragon's Eye")
    Gac (Fruit from Heaven")
    Hawthorn Berries
    Durian ("Kind of Fruits")
    Mangosteen ("Queen of Fruits")
    Seabuckthorn Berries
    Lycium Berry (Goji)
Cili Fruit ("King of Vitamin C")
    Astragalus
    Coriolus versicolor
    Schisandra berries
    Jujube Date
    Ginger
    Tangerine Peel
    Rhodiola Rosea
    Lychee

I will write more about the individual fruits and herbs and their benefits in later posts. To make it taste nice they are blended with Apple Juice, Pear Puree, White Grape Juice and Pineapple Juice. Why the combination of fruits?

According to Asian beliefs every fruit, vegetable or herb can be classified in being a warm or cold fruit. Your body only works in a perfect way when there is balance. Now many of the other juices in this market segment only contain one side of the equation and can leave your body unbalanced in the long run.

If you give your body a well balanced diet it has the power of healing itself and this is where the power of Goyin is, it is in the power of balance.

Goyin does not contain any preservatives when bottling the juice the company uses a process called flash-pasteurization to ensure it keeps fresh in the bottle. Once opened it is recommended to keep the bottle refrigerated and consume it within two weeks.
Almost forgot the taste. With all the herbs and fruits in there how is the taste? Yummy I can only say, feel free to ask us for a sample.

    Welcome to our Goyin Blog

We are Independent Business Owners (IBO) and are using this blog to provide information about the product, company, competition and the business opportunity behind it. You will also find general information related to MLM (Multi Level Marketing) or Network Marketing.

Paola and I started with Goyin in November 2007, after we had been involved with another MLM company. We came across Goyin by accident after a business partner in the other company wanted me to join his Xango team. I signed up in his team, and this prompted Paola to do research about wellness drinks on the Internet. She came about one ad on Google that promoted the next Tsunami if you missed the boat with Xango, Monavie or Goji.

We found out it was the Goyin opportunity and Goyin was about to launch in the US and shortly after in Australia and New zealand. We were intrigued as I can see the advantages of starting a business like this within the first 2 years of launch. We did some more research on this and decided to join Goyin without actually tasting the product. Our reasons for joining this growing team were:

    • First to market opportunity
    • We could identify ourselves with product
    • Experienced Management Team- Great Compensation Plan
    • Fanstastic Support from the team we were about to join
Both of us have been to Traditional Asian Medicine (TAM) Practitioners before and we are believing in alternative medicine as a way of preventing illness or disease. The fact that Goyin is one of the only juices in this industry that is TAM certified sealed the deal for us.

We were AND STILL ARE both very healthy but after taking Goyin for more than a month we both have a lot more energy and feel generally more balanced. I used to get really tired after lunch time - almost falling asleep while working on the computer. I haven't had this since I have my morning and evening shot of Goyin every day.

Please enjoy reading the information on this blog, feel free to leave a comment on the pages.
