Goyin - The natural Mood and Energy enhancer

Today I would like to share a press release that I have taken from our personal website, because it highlights the fact that there are natural products in the market that lift our moods and provide us with more energy.

The main ingredient contained in energy drinks today is caffeine, which is the same stimulant found in coffee or tea. The problem with those kind of drinks is that they can cause seizures due to the crash that follows the high that occurs after consumption. More information can be found in the Wikipedia article about energy drinks.

Below is a study about goyin which provides an healthy and natural alternative to energy drinks based on TAM (Traditional Asian Medicine). From my experience, it doesn't give you that energy boost straight after you drink your first goyin shot. However after one of two weeks most people find a real boost in energy and their mood being uplifted.

Clinical Study Presented to International Society of Sports Nutrition

AMERICAN FORK, Utah—June 12, 2007—There’s great news for the millions who thought the only way to lift their mood was through pharmaceuticals or psychiatry. A new, all-natural beverage based on 5,000-year-old Traditional Asian Medicine (TAM) has been shown to make a noticeable difference in the way people perceive their day-to-day life.

A landmark study conducted to discover the effects of a dietary supplement on mood following periods of physical or psychological stress was presented at the International Society of Sports Nutrition Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada this week. The study shows that daily consumption of a TAM beverage results in significantly improved perceptions of mood, energy, tension, and fatigue.

About the Study

Shawn Talbott, Ph.D., a renowned nutritional scientist and scientific consultant to GoYin, LLC, presented “Effects of a traditional Asian medicine (TAM) on Profile of Mood States (POMS).” This study indicated that Global Mood State may be improved through consumption of a beverage based on TAM and containing a specific blend of 20 herbal/fruit extracts with historical uses related to increasing energy levels and boosting mood (GoYin).

Talbott’s study evaluated the effects of GoYin in two groups of 100 “stressed” and 39 “over-stressed” individuals—finding significant improvements in Global Mood State (14-19%), Fatigue (40-42%), and Vigor (20-47%).
